No. We worship our "big-rock" for the same reasons that Christians worship two perpendicular pieces of wood and Jewish people worship an old wall. No offense meant to other Christians or Jews on this forum.

In other words, Terrier, be tolerant or be quiet.
I wasn't trying to be intolerant. I was asking a question (that's what that little mark (?) at the end of my sentence signifies.) I heard somewhere that the big-rock was pre-islamic and was originally associated with pagan beliefs. Where did the big-rock come from? Was someone sacrificed on it? Is that why you mentioned the wall (the remains of an attack) or the cross (an implement of torture and murder?) What was the rock used for? What is its significance (other than it falling out of the sky?) I am genuinely curious.

Islam has sects also correct? I mean like Sunni,Shiite and I'm sure there are others. So what are the differences? I'm sure there are liberal Muslims & conservative Muslims.
