Peace comes from righteousness.
Joy comes from deep satisfaction.

No one who is not reconciled to God can have true peace.
We reflect what is on God's heart in the spiritual realm.

When God is at peace with us then we reflect the deepest peace in our spirit.
When God is satisfied with us then we reflect that deepest satisfaction in our spirit.

Both peace and joy can increase.
Both can grow.

Unreconciled to God we do not have peace because we are among the wicked.
God says that the wicked are like the tossed waves of the foaming sea. There is no peace in the heart when there needs to be forgiveness from God and cleansing of the conscience from wickedness.

" There is no peace, says Jehovah, for the wicked." (Isaiah 48:22)

Wickedness and Peace are mutually exclusive.

"But the wicked are like the tossed sea, For it cannot be calm, And its waters toss up mire and mud.

There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked." (Isaiah 57:20,21)

Forgiveness from the guilt of sin by God brings in peace and the tossing waves calm down. Release from the power of sin brings in greater peace and joy.

God has a way to make Christ the Prince of Peace absolutely ours.
God has a way to make the joy of Christ our joy.

God has a way to dispense the Person, the Person of Peace and Joy into our being.

Does this apply, in your view, to any of the countless god figures that humans have worshipped or are you simply making grand claims about what just so happens to be your own god figure?
