A wonderful moment of human light in the middle of deep human darkness. Never fails to touch the heart to think of those men in those trenches. I visited Belgium and toured the WWl sites in April this year.
Don’t like the guy singing in this video though. His voice is an superfluous and unwelcome intrusion into a moment that requires reflection not commercialism, which his song’s inclusion obviously is. I’m afraid I switched it off when he started. Sorry.
