1. Everyone deserves to be punished for eternity because all humans are evil in the eyes of God. [Peeing on someone's back.]

2. You have to believe in God and seek His forgiveness ~ because YOU are evil ~ otherwise you face "damnation". [Telling them it's raining.]

3. God has revealed to me how you can be "saved" from this fate. [Offering an umbrella.]

Is someone having unforgiven sins in his life the same as someone being “evil?”

I don’t think so.

God doesn’t want unforgiven sins in Heaven. Heaven is God’s home. It’s not your home.

You wouldn’t tell your neighbor under what conditions you can enter his home. Why do you think human beings get to tell God that?

I am using the word "evil" as sonship and KellyJay use it in this context.

-Removed-
Can you cite the Scripture that says that?

While you’re at it, find the Scriptures that say everyone goes to Heaven 😉

@FMF
I asked you before about your main reason for deciding to be an atheist.
Is this thought of total punishment from God really your biggest reason for atheism?

And I answered point-blank.

No.

Accept this "free gift" or I'll shoot you in the face.

Do you have the right to set the criteria by which you enter God’s home?

That's not the issue.

The issue is that the followers call it a "free gift" when it obviously isn't.

"Work out your salvation with fear and trembling" - now there is a more accurate description of that belief system.

You should read some commentaries on that verse. I don’t think it means what you think.

Philippians 2:12.
