-Removed-You don't have to tell me anything, of course, because it could be too personal for this forum.
But anytime a Christian can admit to saying or acting in a manner that's a contradiction to scripture.....yet continue the behavior, is only fooling themselves. To follow the instructions of Jesus is to change the behavior that is known to be wrong, and not just shrug one's shoulder and dismiss it.
And yes.....I have been doing battle with excessive drinking (frowned upon in the Bible), but I can surely say that I don't merely dismiss it, and pretend all is okay. I'm admitting my fault and trying to correct it. I am repenting.
I'm trying. That doesn't excuse the past, but it brings hope for a better future.
Thanks.
@chaney3 saidAre you admitting to your hypocrisy? Are you trying to correct? Are repenting for it? Or are you, in fact, seeking to dismiss your hypocrisy by mentioning "excessive drinking"?

@chaney3 saidWhy don't you focus on your own efforts to do this? Why not dissect what it is you are trying to do? Why not assess how successful you have been? Why instead are you fixated on someone else?

@chaney3 saidI am speaking to you about what you have and haven't said about yourself.
Bye FMF.
Do you really need to speak for dive, in a post addressed to him?
Enough already.
I am speaking to you about YOUR behaviour.
Why fixate on others?
Why don't you focus on your own efforts to follow Jesus?
Why not dissect what it is you are trying to do in order to follow Him?
Why not assess how successful you have been?
Why be so hypocritical?

I am trying to be nice to you, despite not liking the way you post, or ask 20 questions. I disagree with your posting style, and I am not alone in that opinion.

Why don't you delve into this?
