Of course I want to respect everyone's privacy (so I would understand if some did have stories to tell but would rather not share them in RHP forums), but I wonder if anyone here has had personal evidence of the afterlife, e.g., unusual deathbed experiences (of the survivors) or hints from the other side after someone's passing that couldn't be explained away as wishful thinking or confirmation bias.

@caesar-salad saidGood question. But who from an afterlife would be trying to get in touch with one who is alive? And why?

@galveston75 saidMaybe you could start your own thread with your own questions if you don't have a proper response to the OP.

@caesar-salad saidThreads will often have related subtexts.

@caesar-salad saidHere’s an example of a “subtext”:

There are probably about 20 regular posters and maybe another 10 or 15 who also contribute occasionally. Let be generous and say even 50 people might get to read your OP. That is really generous btw.
What are the chances that there is even one person who can contribute?
@caesar-salad saidI have had one "out of body" experience and three encounters

with ghosts. I'm sure that all of them would be indistinguishable
from the real thing (if they existed. But I prefer the more rational
explanation that all were tricks of the mind.
@caesar-salad saidNope, sorry.

You'll just have to work it out as the rest of us have.

i have, however, sat and lunched with death, rode with him on a roller coaster, watched as he helped aim a detective's service weapon, swam way to deep inna pond holding his hand, and thought i saw him as i traversed big air upon being launched from the back of a speeding quarterhorse...
he never brushes his teeth...
