"A new report from Pew Research Center tries to answer this question by asking U.S. adults 32 fact-based questions about a variety of religious topics. The survey includes questions about the Bible and Christianity, as well as atheism, agnosticism, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism. Respondents also were asked about religious demographics." https://tinyurl.com/yytts8v

Here are key findings from the report:
1 - Most Americans are familiar with some of the basics of Christianity, and even know a few facts about Islam. But fewer get questions right about Judaism, Hinduism or Buddhism.
2 - Atheists are among the most knowledgeable about religion.
3 - Evangelical Protestants get the most questions right about Christianity and the Bible.
4 - Educational attainment is strongly associated with religious knowledge.
5 - Americans who know people belonging to other faiths get more religious knowledge questions right.
6 - Those who are most knowledgeable about religion tend to have favourable views of other religious groups.
Nothing too surprising or controversial here but some people might see a talking point or two.
@suzianne said14/15 (though did kind of guess one of them).
13/15 here.
The two I got wrong, one was about Buddhism and the other was about Christianity, believe it or not.
Got the 2nd to last one wrong, which is annoying.
