If it were proven either way that the shroud were genuine or fake...

Would that change your belief in god/JC?

I am a believer and I can not imagine anything that would change that now. However, you non-believers may need something more, like was provide to the early Christians, before you will believe. This shroud and and sudarium may be of help to their unbelief.

Seems more likely that obviously faked mediaeval relics such as these would cement disbelief.

The scientist that have studied the Shroud of Turin haven't been able to figure out how it was faked. So it does not seem so obvious to them. A couple of them have even stated that they now believe it could very well be the burial cloth of Jesus.

Nonsense. As usual.

Right so you are going to keep believing whether the shroud is genuine or not.

No sane atheist is going to care either way.

And no sane theist from any other denomination is going to care either way.

In short.

Nobody cares.

So shut up and stop spamming this forum with shroud posts.

Nobody gives a damn.
