This is true and thugh it may satisfy your "curiosity" I would suspect that for most this would not be enough. This explanation although true is really not much more than a mere "Yogi Barism" or like saying x=x its true but what is x and when is "it" over?

Why not ask why he created the Sun if I understand correctly in scripture it says that even if the sun were exstinguished there would still be light: the glow of God. And trust me I do not even dare attempt to believe that I completely understand why God does the things that he does, but I am sure that he does them for a reason.

Here is a bit of information: Christianity is a faith based religion.

That is the point, it was said that the universe is as old as it seems,
and I respond, "it seems is between your ears." You can look at
anything and have it mean something to you, it doesn't mean that
what you think reflects reality now does it? Reality does not change
because you precieve something, thus and so, it remains what it
is no matter what you think, or how you define it.

God created Adam and Eve, then through them he made all others.
Now if that was what you were saying, I stand corrected, if not, you
    are wrong according to scripture.

It is a matter of faith now isn't it, which is correct, or are any of them?

So you feel that it is equally legitimate for me to claim
that the world was created 24 hours ago as it is for you
to claim that it was created 6000 years ago?

I think you would have issues as far as dealing with people's memory,
and recorded history. you can claim whatever you want.

There's literal interpretation and then there's LITERAL interpretation.

I neither require, nor expect, my guid to life to read like a tech manual.

"Thusly, persuant to moral code D-14, trojanhorse 'sin' was placed into ethereal slot B in the soul driver of human# 569930. Thusly, the great engineer expressed displeasure with human# 569930, entered command line requesting it to reboot to it's original BIOS settings, thusly quarantining trojanhorse 'sin'. Human# 569930s C:\freewill\randomchoicegenerator.bat program initiated, declining the great engineers request."

    Best Regards,
