I don't want to spoil all the fun, and I'm sure you guys are quite aware of it but this is one big strawman that you are tossing with rotten fruit.

this must be where RHP theists get most of their material, especially Arguments #11 and lucky #13.

EDIT: Argument #26 also seems strangely familiar.
If you would check out all the anti-Christian internet sites you would notice that the same dish is constantly rehashed and served at RHP by the usual anti-crowd.

What are the defining characteristics of the inquisition?

starts with the pretense of offense ,,and continues with feigned martydom,, then comes the distortions and the insults,,the attempts to censor opinions not held by the inquisitor comes next..
Then comes the use of what ever force the inquisitor has to command.
They cannot change either.

There is food for thought for a lifetime here! A lot of psychological perceptiveness too.

But I think it would only be fair if the theists returned the favor and canvassed some flawed and egregious arguments for God's nonexistence. Are you up to the challenge?

Well at least for me and not speaking for any of the other "non-Christians" I encourage the theists to do the same but it would be kind of pointless. After all, I have no religion to sell you from the get go and I never did. I have also never not claimed that the Christians "could" be right. But knock yourselves out.

What bothers me more is the people here who demand I, and others, take their particular brand of hogwash seriously.

Needed: an open flame.

Rotten fruit never falls far from dead trees.

Don't blame ya. If you would though, please remember not every one who claims the same theistic label has the same need to "demand" adherance to their beliefs from others. 😉

here's a proof that will stump you and make you a believer. admittedly, Premise 1 is a little shaky, but Premise 2 is clearly true based on recent findings:

1. If Asthereal is a complete moron, then God exists.
2. Asthereal is a complete moron.
3. Therefore, God exists.
Do you really think I care about you calling me names?
Oh and no, you didn't make me a believer either, I'm just amazed by your lack of iq...

How does the "nobody messes with Texas" theory hold up in the face of Hurricane Rita, I wonder?

Better scratch that one from the list.

This site has me convinced, I don't know what you guys are arguing about:

# ARGUMENT FROM MULTIPLICITY (III) (recursive internet edition)
(1) There exists a web page ( http://www.godlessgeeks.com/LINKS/GodProof.htm )
(2) That page has hundreds of purported proofs of the existence of God.
(3) They can't all be wrong.
(4) Therefore, God exists.

Clearly god must exist.
