    You are not given a choice.

    You get babtised when you are just weeks old.
    They then feed you with pretty stories about Jesus and God when you are young

    The stuff that happens outside at anytime during our lives are not as important as the true changes that we have the potential to make (changes on the "inside" ).
    Good bhuddists monks know this, hence they may participate in christian rituals , such as christmas, so they may show that they are willing to meet persons (of other spiritual persuasions) hafway when it comes to dealing with "surface issues".


    However I do not doubt that a heavy christian influence just after birth, and as a young child, can leave very heavy imprints that may take many years to iron out .My sympathies.
