Squiffy [first time I heard that word] or not. It is what the Bible says. Christianity does not like it either because pastors make less money when they preach the truth. The rich pastors preach nice sugar coated false doctrines.

The Bible says:

[i]Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set f ...[text shortened]... deserves it.
Forgiveness is not automatic and a foregone conclusion as Christians would claim.
The bible also says:

'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.' - Ephesians 2:8-9

Yes, it does and its a nice oneliner to quote in support of 1/2 of the truth.

Not too many verses down the warning is that if you continue to sin then there is no part of eternal life for that person.

Now that constitutes the whole truth, and Christians who are interested in the whole truth will read the whole story.

Im going to be honest with you. What you think of me personally is of no consequence.

As for looking to Christ ..
Christ makes his abode with those who follow his commandments.
Christ will call into his Kingdom, those who follow his commandments.
Christ will send the Comfortor to those who follow his commandments
Christ's friends are those who ..... take a guess
Christ loves those who ... take another guess.

So look to Christ all you want. Chrisst will look the other way if you dont follow his commandments.

No, squiffy or not, it is what YOU say. Everyone has their own interpretation, and obviously, some are wrong, and some are more wrong than others. But to those like you, who make the Bible their God, the words have more meaning than the man.

You're like RJHinds when he claimed that "God meant this", or "God meant that", when that clearly wasn't the case. People lean unto their OWN "understanding" of the Bible, then they claim that God says this or that, when HE didn't, THEY did.

More than able to sir, but not legally required to do so.

(Heads up. Specifying what verse you are referring to might secure a response).
