I’ve just been informed by a regular poster in here that if I respond to his posts directly, he will report me to the site admins.
He made this threat after I politely and substantively exposed a boneheaded post of his for the vapid nonsense it was.
Is it against the TOS to respond *with substance and not insults* to someone’s posts?

You're going to get us all banned if you keep this up! π

A regular poster in here who shall remain nameless (π» ) made the same mistake Bigdogg made four years ago, and, when I pointed out his error, got his knickers in a twist.

I was trying to be humorous about an unfortunate circumstance.
Seems this forum is full of them. π¬

@josephw I just say what I want. What's the worst that can happen?
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
Nothing to worry about I guess! π
@josephw saidWhen a poster has been banned under a previous account for malicious trolling and under their current account has just returned from a 2 week ban for trolling, they need to be particularly mindful not to troll people who have no interest in communicating with them.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI’m currently collecting donations for a fund to pay Russ to get the prick banned for good.

Credit to Suzianne for the idea.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidExposing one of your boneheaded posts for the vapid nonsense it is in a polite and non-insulting manner isn’t “trolling” you or “communicating” with you. It’s educating you.

Responding to someone’s posts isn’t a violation of the TOS.
@moonbus saidI agree, if someone is going to get ugly over a simple and respectful response to their post, I doubt the admin. folks here will judge you too harshly. It might be a good idea not to respond to this guy for awhile until he cools down a bit.
@PB1022
I wouldn’t worry about it, if I were you. If you respond w substance and not insults to any post, I am sure the mods will judge the merits of any complaint fairly.
