Example of humility could be an atheist walking into a place of worship now that's humility!

Are you actually reading my posts. Did I ask for an example of humility?

Edit: sorry, that sounds quite blunt. Not meant to be.

    Huh?

I've walked into Churches, usually to admire the medieval architecture and stained glass windows.

I wasn't exactly being humble at the time.

There are plenty of atheists, including famous ones, who visit churches and
listen to sermons to here what they say.

It's not [necessarily] any indication of humility on the part of the atheist.

I would also say that I've sat through church services before, and sung hymns.
I wasn't being humble, or showing humility then either.

    Often I was rather irritated.

    Your point is still busted.

An atheist walking into a church neither requires or shows humility.

The virtue of humility in its simplest terms: seeing ourselves for who and what we are [as God sees us by His standards].

Many "walk into churches" for social approval in the community, for good luck in their business or for show. Motive matters.

Hey, BDP, ever steal one in a chapel?
