There is no memory between incarnations.
Off on a tangent a friend of mine who is into reincarnation believes that your mind is wiped and that you return. He also seems to think that under certain circumstances you can chose not to return but to move forward.
There are some books where there is a theme of the eternal warrior. I wonder if maybe there are people who willingly come back to fight for good knowing that the price that they pay is a mind wipe and the chess board being totally reset ?
