In my life time I never thought I would live to see a black man president either.
Then Barack Obama was elected to my shock.

In Israel we did see Goldie Meir Prime Minister.
In UK we did see Margaret Thatcher.
In Germany we see Angela Merkel .

Maybe in your life time you'll see a woman US president.
