Ready? On your Mark, get set, go!
So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.
The quickest way to get to know The Good... who is God, The Father?
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Dear Jesus, please show us the Father, since you have not been among us lately?

Dear Jesus, please show us the Father, since you have not been among us lately? - - - Why the rush? If you have faith in Jesus Christ as your savior, you'll see the Father soon enough in the hereafter of your life.

I can't wait for the hereafter to find out who my (our) Father is, as I want to know right here and now. As for faith, as James, Jesus' brother, stated; faith without the application of reason is dead.
It was long ago said that "the Father and creator of all this universe is beyond our comprehension; and even if we were to find him, conveying his existence to all people would be impossible."
However, I believe the time has come when the Father can be easily discovered, primarily through true philosophical reasoning, and with a pinch of faith added to it for taste. But as it was back then, it remains impossible to convey his existence to all of mankind, as this is something that few to none would be willing to accept, at least for now.

I can't wait for the hereafter to find out who my (our) Father is - - Yes you can, and you will.
As for faith, as James, Jesus' brother, stated; faith without the application of reason is dead. - - You must have a different translation. My Bible says "faith without works is dead."

It was long ago said that "the Father and creator of all this universe is beyond our comprehension; and even if we were to find him, conveying his existence to all people would be impossible." - - Then why would you want to see him? - - - I want to see the Father to confirm my hunch. If I can find one of those few who would consider it possible, and then compare notes, I would have more faith in all the reasonable work I have done to reach my hunch.
However, I believe the time has come when the Father can be easily discovered, primarily through true philosophical reasoning - - So, why are you asking to see the Father? Can't you use your "true philosophical reasoning" to do this? - - - See the previous, since I have already done the reasonable work and I see the Father, but only darkly, through a glass. My hunch is made of glass, and can shatter if I don't reinforce it, by making the glass bulletproof.
But as it was back then, it remains impossible to convey his existence to all of mankind - - Please be careful with the word "convey" It's a legal term with multiple meanings. - - - I was using the term, convey, in the same way that I'm conveying this reply to you. Convey is not specifically and strictly a legal term. We see Jesus use it legally and also commonly, as is it written in the English translation. Jesus conveys the message to the rich man, that if he wanted to be perfect he had to freely convey all his riches to the poor.
Anyway, since it does not appear to be much interest in this spiritual thread, I suppose it would be best to stop here, and convey the subject to some future time.
@Suzianne saidMy favorite prophets were all females. And at the top of my list were the priestesses who sat on a tripod, working out of the ancient Oracle of Delphi.

I can't wait for the hereafter to find out who my (our) Father is
@mchill saidThat's not what James said at all. And faith without reason? Whose reason? A teacher, your priest, your rabbi, your mother, who? We must work these things out for ourselves, with guidance from the Word.

@PettyTalk saidYou should read the scriptures and meditate on them, for one we cannot think our way to God, we cannot earn our way to God, but we can go to God in prayer as He calls us to Himself. We will only come to God on His terms, we cannot provoke Him to act, and we cannot give Him anything that isn't already His. We can enter into a relationship with Him and call Him Father, on His terms, which is Jesus Christ. I believe you will also see in scripture none of us are going to have an excuse for rejecting God, when in the end all secrets are shouted from the rooftops they will all be laid bare and exposed.
