OMG, that's never happened before. Not here.
Disconcerting and aggravating, isn't it? As well as insensitive, ignorant and just mean.
Welcome to the atheist M.O. Shoes on the other feet just feel weird, eh?
Can you cite even just one example of me "hold opposing views as both being true at the same time"?

And I say again, stop focusing on unimportant minutia and stick to the topic.
Stop misdirecting.
It's not always about you.

I've been out cycling on the weekends did 52 miles today that helps 😉 Just remember this is just a silly forum on a chess website ......the real world is not

No I don't. I do not "hold opposing views as both being true at the same time". You are misrepresenting my beliefs.
You flipped flopped, claiming Jesus Christ was real and the Son of God, to
not any more. Granted these were your beliefs, but you held this was true
and changed your mind. That changing of your mind means what you once
believed wasn't real. Yet you continue to claim it was, it was never for you,
it was only some sham you held on to and let go of, but you want points for
the claim nonetheless.

So much for your rather proud suggestion on page one that you have respect for "different honest heart felt beliefs".

FMF: You repeatedly branded me as a liar in a recent conversation for saying that I used to be a Christian. So much for your suggestion that you have respect for "different honest heart felt beliefs". Blimey.KellyJay a few days ago: "I try not to use the word "lie" as freely as some here do. They may honestly believe what they think is true, that does not make them liars, just wrong."

I agree, I did and still feel that way.
KellyJay on page one of this thread: "I believe you [divegeester] and the others just simply have different honest heart felt beliefs that differ from mine, and their lifes walk has them seeing life in differently than I do."

are in full agreement! I agree they are not your views now, we are in full
agreement! You however do not grasp the meaning there, admitting when
you held them what you were holding on too wasn't real, even though you
at the time believed it, shows what you had at the time wasn't real, it was
not real because you say so now! If you REALLY had a relationship with
Jesus Christ, you'd never say that! So it wasn't real then, though you
claimed it so. I actually don't know why you keep trying to defend yourself
with me!
My proud suggestion on heart felt beliefs is still true, you've just switched
sides, and refuse to acknowledge what you had before the switch wasn't
the real thing! Those who say they held those beliefs, claim to reject them
and acknowledge what they had at the time before their switch wasn't
real, I'd can accept that! That shows at least they are honest about what
was going on in their lives, you want it both ways. To the point of claiming
everyone who is a Christian is walking a false life, because we are just like
you were!
