Your Link mentions one scholar EDGAR J. GOODSPEED that I would be
interested in knowing if you have a reliable reference to what he actually
said about the NWT. Do you have such a reference that is not biased
by the Watchtower?

I found this on the website that seems to tell a diferent story as
to what Dr. Goodspeed said about the NWT.
Originally posted by RJHinds David Reed, an ex-Witness, says in his book, Jehovah's Witnesses Answered
Verse by Verse that basically the New World Translation came into being for
the sole purpose of supporting Watchtower doctrines showing their own bias
(pp.17-18). Reed says, "So, during the 1950's, Watchtower leaders went
beyond interpretation by producing their own version of the ...[text shortened]... loser agreement with
what the organization teaches."

who cares what he thinks, we are interested in the text not what some disgruntled ex
witness states, you think that by now you would have learned that opinions are of
absolutely no value to me. I say this to spare you the effort of posting the opinions of
others, they prove nothing more than the people that uttered them have not the
remotest idea what the Greek text states, because like you, they cannot read Greek.
Just saying.

You should be interested in what he stated and why he is disgruntled
so you could do something about the problem whether he is right or
wrong. You just want to ignore anything negative, so you don't have
to deal with it in a responsible manner. Another one of your cowardly
traits of hiding your head in the sand.

I dont care what he said nor what he thinks, i know what the Greek text states, his
points of view is absolutely irrelevant in this regard.
(Proverbs 19:28) . . .A good-for-nothing witness derides justice, and the very mouth of
wicked people swallows down what is hurtful.

I think he is a good-for-something witnesses. He sheds light on the dark
practices of the Watchtower.

Keep watching I will inevitably post something else you either can't argue with or your delicate spiritual sensibilities are offended by - and so you will be able to gbaway me again.

But he gets over it real quick. Look at me, sometimes he seems furious
with me and appears not to want to talk to me again. The the next thing
you know, we seem to be the best buddies again. Who would have thunk it?

i do not mind you having a go at me personally, nor of discussing the sacred text, i see
no reason to repeat the same things over and over again, nor to tolerate caustic vitriol
when the whole universe knows we are pure awesomeness personified.

i dont hold grudges nor resentment in for long, its one of my few endearing qualities. I
readily admit that i can be intolerant, dictatorial, dismissive and arrogant, but
unforgiving i am not.
