The 7 bowls of wrath are described in the book of Revelation chapter 16 as being “poured out”. They are plagues upon the Earth, apocalyptic events which precipitate the end of this dispensation and herald the return of Christ.
Has the first bowl been poured out yet?

This would necessitate the anti-christ has come to power and made his mark available as well as a revealing of the image of the beast. None of this has come to pass yet, and so the time of the seven bowls of wrath is not yet.
@suzianne saidIn your mind then there is a clear distinction between the ubiquitous “end times” which many here believe we are experiencing already, and the major events which precipitate the return of Christ?
No.

@divegeester saidThat's what the Book of Revelation says.

@suzianne saidWhere (in Revelation) is the clear distinction between these two epochs or periods?
That's what the Book of Revelation says.
@divegeester saidThe "clear distinction" is basically the time of the Tribulation (meaning the seven years including the 3.5 years called "the beginning of sorrows, and the 3.5 years called "the Great Tribulation" after the anti-christ comes to power). All of the events attributed to "end times" fall during this period. Any other fear-mongering outside this period (even if they call it "end times" ) has no effect upon the outcome, and, frankly, is basically just people trying to sell their book.
