I thought this was some kind of joke, but sure enough, it's in the KJV! Glad my living Bible just says "let him be cursed."🙂

... and excommunicated. Of course that makes sense only if you were a member of the chucrch before. I thought the 'modern' interpretation left some hope, though.

I think the harshest expression I could find from Jesus is that those who would hinder a child it would be better if they had a millstone around their neck and they were cast into the sea.
