My friends told me this was a controversial book, and I thought of RHP.

Do you think Jesus was married? Do you think he had a child?

What are your opinions on this book?

Excellent book.

I don't know if all that was suggested in it was true, but it is interesting to think about the possibilies.

Jesus was called a Rabi in the bible.

Tradition says that in order to be a Rabi, one had to be married.

And so far as the da vinci code, remember, ANYTHING can be made the "Truth" if you look with a biased eye.

For instance, i believe it's true when I say the sky is NOT blue.*

Truth, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

f

* With colors, what you see is the 'reflection' of the wavelength. Dear reader, that blue shirt you're wearing is every color BUT blue.

ps If you liked the Da Vinci Code, be sure to check out Eco's "The Name of the Rose".

great book, kept me on edge. I have never trusted the church, and this book makes me trust them even less.

The ideas presented by Brown are not new. Historians have put forth these theories for years. The book is fictional, but the theories presented are considered fact by many historians. Brown himself has said he has an open mind....
