The Stone thus remains to be cast.
Oh I see. I cast a stone, not the First Stone.

WHACK! Take that DoctorScribbles! Bwahahahahahha

Curious, which branch of theology teaches you that belief ?
The branch in which Jesus spares the life of an adulterer from the horrifying circus of a brutal and tortuous public execution.

Am I correct in stating that Jesus advocated the belief that we should not judge one another ?

I have no idea. I doubt it. All I know is that nobody cast the first stone then, and so far, nobody has cast it here either.

I'm curious as to why you do not have the answer to this question.

Ivanhoe, I asked a simple question. It was not directed at you. I wasn't debating. I just asked a simple question. Can we not talk about classical music? I'm listening to Ton Koopman. I believe he is Dutch. Are you familiar with his Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra? I hear he is difficult to work with.

Captain Kirk: "Can we not talk about classical music? "

But of course open a new thread. This is a very spiritual issue in the way you define the term. Maybe an interesting discussion will emerge, lead by Cribs of course, whether this thread belongs in Debates or in Spirituality or in General Forum ..... It'll keep the kids of the streets.

Ok, so exactly who are we suppose to be casting stones at ? Ofcourse you realise the adulteress was not neccesarity a Jew, and we are not to judge those outside the church. Did you have someone in mind ?

I don't actually understand the question or what point Doc S is trying to make.

C'est la vie.

Look. I-- I'd had a lovely supper, and all I said to my wife was, 'That piece of halibut was good enough for Jehovah
