The Meaning of the Word "Windbag" in the usual context of internet conversation is grossly misunderstood by many well intentioned contributors. For example: "On this day in history" followed by several pages of cut and paste. It simply means they have nothing better to do with their time. Whether there's an emotional involvement or not is never the issue they just love pretentious gassing.

Little Boy Blue,
Come blow your horn,
The sheep's in the meadow,
The cow's in the corn;
Where is that boy
Who looks after the sheep?
Under the haystack
Fast asleep.
Will you wake him?
Oh no, not I,
For if I do
He will surely cry.
