John Gray reflects on the damage that can be caused by evangelical belief in a religion or in a political idea. "Whether they are religious or political, evangelists seem to me a blight on civilisation. For them as for those they persecute or bully, belief is an obstacle to a fulfilling life."

Haven't heard podcast yet but I would say that there would be no perils if your beliefs were spirituality sound.

I'd say John Gray's intellect is damaged by disbelief.

It seems to me that the 10 commandments are a pretty good moral code, as well as the Golden Rule given by Christ.

In fact, I would say that the blight on society is perhaps the 120 or so people who die from overdoses every hour on the hour.

    Call me crazy.

We have come to believe the press. They feed us lies everyday.

Did I read whodeys comment accurately? Was that not a perfect example of how someone has been corrupted by the media?

I'm struggling to find any Christian merit in is post. Perhaps those that died were gluttons?

Several of the 10 commandments are of no use whatsoever to non-Christains ~ about 70% of human beings as things currently stand.
