Anyone who is a saved believer is a spokesman for God.

So if a "saved believer" is the spokesperson for God, and that svaed believer is responsible for the death of thousands, is your God evil?

The previous pope was a Polish fellow with a budget of silly beliefs about how the world is. The current pope, on the other hand, is German.

So by the same logic wouldnt it be possible for your God to corrupt the minds of people and would that then make s/he evil, or do you still put that down to "free will"? Is only Satan capable of corrupting minds or influencing free will?

the last words of Christ to his apostles:

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall
not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
    recover.

16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Are you really "saved" RB? Do you show the signs that you "believe"?

    REALLY?

I mean does this person speak for god on Earth or is s/he just another person who believes?

The Pope is more than just another believer. He holds a position that was instituted by God; his authority (in moral matters) was obtained from God. That does not mean, however, that he is a "spokesman" for God in the same way that (say) a Prophet is; or that God does not speak to the world directly or indirectly through other channels. Nor does it mean that everything the Pope does is "speaking for God". Does that answer your question?
