It wouldn't as is amply illustrated by the tales of all the Roman Gods.
However don't confuse this with the modern Christian or Muslim God as that is a different premise altogether. With them you start with:
Premise: A supernatural entity that is all knowing, all powerful, completely just, completely loving etc etc exists. (that some of these properties are incompatible is another issue altogether.)
Note that if all you are talking about is supernatural entities, then even Christianity recognises lots of supernatural entities such as angels or devils that wouldn't particularly care about you except perhaps when it comes to the age old war between good and evil.
