I saw white, possibly light blue...

It might have something to do with the mood you are in at the time that you imagine it.

i saw yellow around a yellow lemon

If you saw dark around it, maybe that is because it was inserted where the sun don't shine!

hmm, I have been feeling some discomfort lately....

well i saw a yellow background since lemons are yellow so idk about the other backgrounds. maybe you see white since white is kind of the default background meaning a paper is white before you write on it, and most other things are white before you do something to them

I would never have expected anyone to say they saw a yellow background!

I agree that white and black backgrounds are probably very common, but when people have colours it's wierd. Psychologists could probably research it. It might tell us something about a persons personality or mood. eg. Perhaps serial killers all have the same coloured background, whilst all gambling addicts have another. I expect my example is over simplified, but you know what i mean.

I wonder if anyone has tried to research it.
