Non sequitur.

You constantly insist that others do what you yourself do not.

You call everyone bad, to distract from the things you do that would disqualify you.

What was the last thing you did for a homeless person?

Have you ever worked in what they call a 'soup kitchen'?

Have you ever participated in a food drive for St. Vincent de Paul, or any other charity organization?
...[text shortened]... ut modern-day Pharisees. "See me giving to the poor. Never mind that I actually gave them nothing."
I don’t brag about the things I do. You feel the need to compare yourself to others? I say everyone is a sinner which is true for everyone, that is not according to me, but scripture. I don’t single some as better than others or have a specific group I enjoy telling everyone they are the worst compared to others.

Are you very happy your not as bad as some other sinners?

Christward is not a psychological ideology but a divine act of God; it either happens to a person or it does not. Many claim to be Christians, but have no love for God or man, and their lives are not much different than before their claim ever happened. It isn’t found in our institutions, our denominations, though you can find Christians in them. It’s when a Holy God and a sinful man reconcile through an act of redemption.

I’m not putting myself above anyone here by telling them I’m superior to them in any way. I am saying we are all guilty, which is different than singling out anyone’s political foes and demonizing them, or some other block of people. She wasn’t always this bitter, at least as far as my memory goes.

As soon as standards are applied in any discussion, the results are judged good or bad; it is unavoidable that this is the point of standards. Removing the standards doesn’t alleviate the damage the identified bad does; it merely hides the fact that they are bad, and the damage being done shows why. If we are not judging with impartiality, then we are not really applying a standard, but a personal preference.

Which is why I prefer looking at scripture in context, seeking the precepts and guiding principles, but even with them, without the Holy Spirit, we tend to fold those into what we prefer, acting on what we like and ignoring what we don’t. I believe we can fool ourselves much more quickly than others can, and if I'm acting out simply because I want to be true instead of what is, I can never be shown I’m wrong if I am my only standard. If you can show me scripture that shows me I’m wrong using correct context, prove it to me; I need to repent. I must always be willing to say I'm wrong, even if it pains me.
