@sonshipsaid In the words borrowed from the late John Silber dean of Boston University -
"I wish some of you would shut up and learn something."
You are man without Christ. You profess dead faith with your mouth and Jesus likened you to ... ,,, a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.(Matthew 7:26-27 KJV)
I pity all those who listen to you.

It was interesting though, wasn't it?
Both articles.
@josephwsaid "'We are told in the New Testament that we are “partakers of the divine nature” and that “we will be like Him.” This means that we are becoming God in life and nature.'"
I cannot fathom that stretch. How can anyone say that being a "partaker" and "be like him" means "becoming God"?
It is a blasphemy to say "God said" when He didn't say it at all. To mischaracterize the scriptures as saying what it's not saying is why so many cults exists today.
It's akin to adding to, and taking away from the Word of God.

A United States Congressman Honors Chinese Christian Teachers
Watchman Nee and Witness Lee
Affirms their outstanding contribution to Christianity
Calls on the Chinese government to recognize their extraordinary accomplishments
far beyond China
On April 29, 2014, Mr. Joe Pitts, a senior member of the United States Congress, entered
a statement in the Congressional Record honoring the contribution of the Chinese
theologian and evangelist Witness Lee to Christianity all over the globe. Joe Pitts noted
that Watchman Nee’s story and accomplishments have been well-known in the Western
world and his contribution was acknowledged four years ago through another member of
the United States Congress, Chris Smith. However, Witness Lee, who continued Nee’s
ministry and publications outside of China and spread it overseas, was less known.
Therefore, Joe Pitts entered a statement into the Congressional Record in order to honor
the outstanding contribution of this faithful servant of God.
