Personally, no. I could die tomorrow happy. Would I regret not having more time with my family, etc..., of course. Still, I've had a good run and have few disappointments.

I disagree with your statement that Christianity doesn't foster fear. The basic tenent being that if you believe in Christ you go to heaven, if you don't, you burn in a lake of fire forever. Imagine teeaching such a concept to the youngest of children? Hell and Satan are the biggest boogeymen going. Fear, the great molder of young minds. Fear that if you have any doubt at all you'll go to hell.
