What does Jesus mean to you.

Jesus means nothing to me at all.

I'm sure he was a charming man, who had a way with words. He died 2000 years ago.

When you think of the great people who have been born since, I find it amazing there is still all this fuss over him.

The church does many good things for the social fabric of communities. But the foundations that it stands on are old stories and myths.

Everything.

In no particular order:

Hercules/Heracles
Attis
Osiris/Horus
Krishna
Mithras
Dionysus/Bacchus
Zarathustra

I've heard Jesus was an alright guy. Not the son of god. Not the messiah. Just a guy with some radical ideas who suffered for them. Perhaps worthy of acknowledgement, but no more than many other radical thinkers who also suffered death for their beliefs.
