For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. (Isaiah 65:17 KJV)

According to sonship even God forgets (literally) the sins we have committed if we are saved.

You dont need to get it. You need to accept it. Imagine if all the millions of people with grouses against others, had the same mindest in the Kingdom of God. The bible is clear that people will be changed, both mind and body. I know churches tell people otherwise.

As if brainwashed and having had your humanity erased. Odd thing to aspire to, if you ask me. I think people can live a morally sound and stimulating life without having to believe that ending up in such a state - for eternity, no less - is the ultimate goal.

Well clearly your aim is to ridicule rather than understand. I got you.

Quite correct. People do not need to know and understand what happens after death in order to live righteously and find themselves in a better place. There are 3 options, according to the bible
- a place of peace and rest [mistakenly called heaven]
- a place of torment [ some people call it hell]
- nothingness.
The bible supports all 3, but you will hear churches preach only the first two.

Regarding the topic of this thread. People will know who they are and know of their past life and also what happened. These things are not erased, but issues will be dealt with and understood.

I am hoping for "nothingness"

I find existence to be an overrated burden to be honest.
