The one story that always kinda freaks me out is the story about the possessed man that had the legion of demons in him. The crazy thing is when the people saw him in his right mind they were more terrified. Oh and the pigs rushing into the water. The account says they cried out when they saw Jesus because they knew who he was.

Yeah I was waiting for a 'snap'!. Actually it was an answer given by a friend of mine a long time ago.
makes you think a bit .
The op was onto an interesting question. Whats your answer?
As for posessing other people it can be done apparently, even easier if the host body gives you permission.

Because it is - just like you and me. Don't let the flashing lights you see on your screen fool you. There is no 'you' apart from the dependent causes of 'you.' It is one bundle of meaning in the big bundle of the universe. Enjoy it now 'cause tomorrow you won't be around to worry about being 'something else.'

The material and energy interactions and arrangements in your body are what create and sustain "you". In a sense they ARE "you".
