@divegeester saidI think that I have heard "nobody knows day or hour"...
Any thoughts or prophesies?

@divegeester saidHe came already, three days after the crucifixion.
Any thoughts or prophesies?
@medullah saidNot sure what passage you are referring but those that speak of the return of Christ like this one use erchomai

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:30 KJV)
Strongs Concordance explains:
erchomai [er'-khom-ahee]
Middle voice of a primary verb (used only in the present and imperfect tenses, the others being supplied by a kindred [middle voice] word, ἐλεύθομαι eleuthomai or ἔλθω elthō; which do not otherwise occur); to come or go (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively): - accompany, appear, bring, come enter, fall out, go, grow, X light, X next, pass, resort, be set.
Nothing at all to do with parousia. Do you have the actual passage with this word?
What is suspect is going on is that the JWs had prophesied that Jesus would return in 1914 or thereabouts, and I think they are still holding on to that. They must have changed the original words in the Septuagint [while doing their own bible] to match their prophecy.
@galveston75 saidVery dumb question. See if you understand this:
@divegeester
So with his return, will be be a human again?
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (Philippians 3:20-21 KJV)
We have a human body, but when Jesus returns those that a counted righteous will be changed and be a glorious spiritual body like Jesus.

@Rajk999 saidSo explain what you mean when you say he returns? Returns where? No childish answer needed but give a mature one.

@galveston75 saidI give answers from the bible. Childish answers are the ones people cut and paste from a website. Here it is :
So explain what you mean when you say he returns? Returns where? No childish answer needed but give a mature one.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:9-11 KJV)
Returns where? To Earth.

@galveston75 saidWhy are you, a person who is a member of an organisation which claims to be “the sole voice of god’s truth on earth”, asking this question of a non member?

@galveston75 saidInstead of asking questions why don’t you tell us what you think/are thought to think?
