Yes and no. Some religions are worse than others. Evangelical religions obviously being the worst. But I think all religion is unnecessary and ultimately harmful in the long run.

Stupid question but what are evangelical religions. I haven't heard the term.

Religions which go out of their way to convert new members, or which are marked by a militant and crusading zeal. Christianity is an evangelical religion, for example.
