Of course, it would not be the original monkey. It will have taken a few minutes off to talk to the lady(man) monkey that brought it biscuits and tea, got busy (naturally) and now it would be the offspring typing away. Dad(Mum) could teach it etc etc etc

It would take generations, and here we are. Only we lost the original typewriter....

I have read books that I was fairly certain were written by monkeys. Or maybe ferrets.
