A test side scoring 480 in a day doesn't happen all that often. And to do it against the South Africans too. Blimey.
If they didn't use their referrals earlier for correct decisions, they would've won.
It's going to be a good close series now.
Michael Clarke...what can you say. i guess if your sth African you can say statistically he is bound to fail in his next innings.
But then you have M.Hussey still there- " Oh I'll just take hundred and retire guys" , same as the test before.
Then there's Ponting and the other top order who are all due to score.
The Aussies attack has found heart.
Unlucky not to take the wickets to win
I would still put Mitchell Johnston straight back in, instead of Hilfenhause or even the spinner , Lyon.
Clarke can spin. There's no spinners wickets coming up.
And put yourself in the Sth Africans shoes...They would hate another genuine, wild, quick in Clarkes reportoire. (I think Johnston took 4 wickets in his state match and made runs)
LOL. All those fireworks and they still lose the game.
Like golf: Drive for show, putt for dough.
Then the Proteas finally get their act together and pulverise the ausies.
When the SA top order fires and the bowlers hit their straps - I can't see any team who can stand before us currently.
Sweet, sweet victory.
It's good to be on top.

Mitchell Johnson is a wonderful player. Why wasn't he there from the start?
