Actually Rooney, Terry and Gerrard would easily get their game for Brazil or Germany. On paper England have an excellent international team full of potential...the problem is for some reason England just do not have the ability to gel as a team which is why the vast majority of English people correctly don't fancy their chances of winning it

gerrard is a great player

rooney is over-rated and a head case

terry is old and a liability

the rest of your team is pedestrian and liable to lose to anyone at any time


One of the most annoying things about your england fans is the constant whining about what is wrong wit hyour fabulous team.

you're team isn't that good, it is your players, not the coach, not the chemistry, not the fans, bals, or weather. England just isn't that good. You have one player who could make the brazilian side and one more who might be a sub for germany if he could keep his temper.
