What an impressive performance by a superstar who deserves to win it all. He certainly is stating his case eloquently. 48 pts on 12-15 FG for 80%, 24-24 free throws for the all time record, 6 rebounds, four blocks. God knows how many assists and how many points resulted from when he was double teamed and kicked it out to Terry or others. On top of it all, no three pointers yet scored a monster total! Alls I can say is an emphatic wow!

He had a good game. Star players tend to have good games at crunch time.

However, Dirk has been there how many years?
How many times has he led a team to the Finals?
How many teams have Mark Cuban spending whatever it takes to get there?

Dirk is a great player, but I would rather have Kevin Durant any day of the week.

Dallas' team may be the better team against the young OK team.
We shall see.

I am suspicious of Dallas' style of play. What is going to happen when their outside shots stop falling?

NO argument on any of your points, but statistically Dirk's was a better night than Durant's. We'll se how it shakes out. Dirk seems to have elevated his game and knows it's now or never for a ring. I suspect Durant will win many rings. This seems like a way different team than the Mavs' 06 team. They're showing hustle. They did not back then. My only disagreement is that Dirk's was only a good game. It was a monster game! Record for FT's 24-24 is more thatn a good game. 80% from the field is more than a good game.

I think unlike past teams this one is capable of switching and taking it inside with Chandler or Haywood or even little Barea!

Thunder beats Mavs on the Mavs home floor.

Bad omen for the Mavs who hadn't lost on their floor in the playoffs.

Is the next at home or at OK?

Next two at OKC, then back and forth after that.

I wish they'd go back to the old 2-3-2 format, this 2-2-1-1-1 format just drags stuff out and burns fuel making the teams travel so much.

You'd think the league would care a bit more for the enviroment.

How bout now? You believe even more? What a game, comeback and Dirk is clearly way better than Durant! Durant is awesome but needs to mature yet. His day looks just a wee bit around the corner still.

Dirk has been a monster, no doubt.
Some of those prayers he was tossing up found the bottom of the hole.
But I will give him his due for the way he has played.

Dirk is successful though because Terry, Kidd, et all, will fill the hole if they double team Dirk.

Westbrook has killed OKC. He is not the player Durant is, but he jacks it up like he is.
When Westbrook is left to run that club, they just double team the hell out of Durant,
because no one else will do any damage. They dare Westbrook to jack it up.
He has choked it up in three games so far.

I hope Dallas gets to play against Miami.
Then we will see how they handle Dirk....and how Dallas handles the big three.

* Oh, and by the way....my comment that you alluded to "OK I believe" referred to the City of Oklahoma City, not who I believed would win.

Of course you meant Oklahoma, yet you left it so ambiguously open for interpretation I could not resist the mild, for my standards, pop shot! OK will be back no doubt. Awesome cast of players.
