What's killed us lately is the inexplicable bad record in one run games.

Just when I'm totally ready to count them out, the Reds do something like sweep the defending champions. Their next 16 games are against sub ...[text shortened]... ewers have a bunch of games left with each other, so perhaps they can knock each other around.

OK, the Reds managed to take 1 game out of 3 from the Astros, the team with the
worst record in baseball. A team who saw their two best offensive players traded
just before the series with the Reds.

I miss Dandy Don Meredith at times like this, but in his honor......
