Anyone with any views on the controversial run out of Murali?

I personally think it was fault on Muralis part, he shouldnt have left the crease.

I agree.

We'll never know but I suspect that if the return to the stumps had been wild, the two Sri Lankan batsmen would have gladly run for overthrows.

Isn't Murali a great player, though? With Monty Panesar, they both show an avid love for, and great skill at the game. Compared with the (enormously skilled) arrogance of Warne who couldn't show graciousness or humility if he were paid to ... and who sometimes picks up bonus wickets through repeated appeals that are patently not out.
