Tebow is crap for 3 quarters and John Elway re-incarnated in the 4th quarter.
He is making it work and they are believing in him.
Prato made two great kicks to tie and win it too.

Yes, I think Tebow has more impact on the game than mere stats would imply.

    What would that be exactly?

    They aren't scoring much.
They aren't running the clock much.

This is why the writers and announcers can't figure out what it is.
How else would you measure what he is doing other than the stats?

Its excitement... his competitiveness is driving his defense to keep it close because they know he can get them back in it. When I was watching the game last night the announcer pointed out how some defensive players were on their feet watching the game.

That is the miracle worker stuff and they were watching in the 4th qtr waiting for it.

Opposing defenses can't figure out why he gets away with some of the stuff he does.

Don't get me wrong...I like the kid and his attitude.
    He is fun to watch.
What he lacks in skill, he makes up for in determination.
He has been told since High School he can't play QB at every level, yet he does it.
No one is questioning he has the heart of a lion.
But eventually, you have to have the talent to make it all work.
Elway had amazing talent to back up his miracles, Tebow doesn't.

Tebow is showing improvement though and I am sure he will continue to improve.

I think it's funny that no one has bothered to compare Elway's first season stats with Tebow's. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/ElwaJo00.htm

Because Elway has been very negative toward Tebow. As it turns out, Tebow's numbers are actually better than Elway's were during his first year.

So is the team Tebow is playing for. Elway turned the Broncos around.
Tebow started with a pretty good product.
