Last year you said the Eagles were going to sweep into the playoffs once they got rid of TO; this year you said they were finished when McNabb went down. Now Garcia is the present Philly flavor of the month until you get smoked in the playoffs. Then it'll get ugly and quick. It never changes in Philly.
Congrats to the Eagles; they played very well in nipping the G-Men. No turnovers in particular and a very nice drive at the end after the Giant defense had played very well in the second half. I knew goddamn Akers wasn't going to miss; has he ever missed a kick against the Giants?
Tiki went out strong with 137 yards and even Eli had a few moments at the end though he played poorly most of the game. The Giants have nothing to hang their hands about; it was a tough game contrary to the many predictions of blow out. The NFC still seems wide open to me; I won't be shocked if both road teams win next week.

The Eagles did take a 10 point lead in the third quarter, but rather than use up their cell phone minutes, the Giants came back and tied the game.
