@suzianne saidNot too early at all! It’s in the early stages of the home stretch now, just about the time I get interested. I really enjoy the NBA playoffs. No predictions from me yet, but I sure don’t think it’s too early for prognostications.
Is it too early to prognosticate about the NBA Finals?
The Phoenix Suns have the best record in the NBA with less than half the season to go.
@liljo saidWell, Phoenix played New Orleans tonight and they lost, 117-102. Pelicans were fresh off the All-Star break, while Phoenix played OKC last night. I'll grant that NO is better than their record, for sure.

@suzianne saidIt would be nice to see the Suns win. Having different teams win each year makes it all more interesting.

Phoenix Suns 115, New York Knicks 114
I heard this game last night on the radio. At the buzzer, there was so much pandemonium, I was yelling at the radio, "Did he make it? Did he make it?" Finally, I heard Al McCoy yell, "HE MADE IT!!" Thrilling game with a thrilling ending. I remember when the Suns would always lose these close, tight games. Now they're winning them. I'd love to see the Suns finally bring home the NBA Championship to cap off Al McCoy's 50th year of broadcasting Suns games on the radio.

@athousandyoung saidGolden State Warriors are only 8 games out behind the Suns.
This is not a Lakers (or Clippers) year. I guess two championships in one year is too much.
My father took me to a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden when I was a kid and I still remember Mike Glenn hitting a game-winning jumper at the buzzer.
Awesome.
The Knicks were my favorite team, and Micheal Ray Richardson, a Knicks’ guard, had one of the most memorable sports quotes of all time.
When the Knicks were in a slump, Richardson told a reporter, “The ship be sinkin’ “
When the reporter asked him how far it could sink, Richardson said, “The sky’s the limit.”
I think my favorite Knicks player back then was Campy Russell and for a while I tried to shoot in the unorthodox way he shot.
But I also liked Bill Cartwright and Toby Knight.
@suzianne saidI understand that now the conference semifinals are in progress.

Phoenix Suns still competing.
