And it started with you, slacker... because you are as sad as him.
Edit. Do you have something useful to contribute with or you just want to pollute the space?
re: your edit - Torres will play football, he'll score some goals (probable), he'll get injured at some point (probable) and miss a few games. Liverpool will be there or there abouts this season, unlikely to sustain a Premiership winning run, but a cup final (at home or abroad) is a possibility.

Getting back to the thread, I think Torres is a big unknown. He could flop entirely or be quite a good addition to the Reds.
Even if he plays well, I don't think he's enough to give Liverpool decent odds for winning the league but he can definitely be a part of their sucess. Liverpool needs something else, most likely something for the wings.

I agree with you, he can contribute but he is definitively one of
those "magicians" that will bend the level in favor of the team... he
did it with Atletico, but there is a big distance between them and the
Reds.
Deep inside, I am afraid the guy chose to be Lion's tail instead of the mouse's head. But let's see... Rafa is a great coach, and he must have something in mind for Torres.
Originally posted by SeitseI'm not so sure, Torres is one heckuva player but I'm not sure about this thing turning Merseyside into the Costa del Sol..๐ Well, one thing Liverpool Reds ๐ could do.. straight swap - 'pool gets Benayoun and Hammers Bellamy ๐
Well, it is closed matter: Fernando Torres is going to Liverpool for
quite a juicy deal for Atletico de Madrid.
Any thoughts from Liverpool fans?
How will this impact Rafa's game style?
What are you Reds expecting from "The Kid"?
