I see now why this once fine organization has hit almost rock bottom. What crappy way to treat a first year coach who did a credible job with a crappy team! Mora may be no coaching genius, but to fire him and bring in Pete Carroll, a man fleeing NCAA investigation is a real crappy way to treat a decent guy like Mora. Carroll is a loathsome creature to be a part of this. BTW, notice Jack del Rio turned down USC, so there may be some truth to the allegations about recruiting misconduct! I hope USC gets hammered and Carroll does his usal crappy NFL job. 33-31 record vs. 5-11 for Mora. Not enough difference to show Mora the door and bring in Carroll!

Looks like they found another worm to fill that USC job.
Lane Kiffin!
How fitting.
Originally posted by scacchipazzoCarroll's a worm and Kiffin's an even bigger worm but USC must be out of their gourds to just hand this job to Kiffin. Why exactly did USC give this guy the job? What has he accomplished in his career as a head coach? Bupkis.

Edit - Apparently Jon Gruden has already turned down the Vols job.
Originally posted by darvlayNot the only stupid and treacherous team! TT handed the job to Tberville despite the great job Ruffin McNeil did in their bowl game and now Tuberville fired the great man! That's too bad! McNeil showed more in one game than most show in a carreer! Great decisions, acumen and saavy! Kiffin has accomplished nothing ineed. May it go south for this once great USC team!
