the diving part of soccer is what keeps it from gaining any real popularity in N. America.
Cheating is ok, just don't fall down like a wimp. Diving is considered to be very feminine and not worthy of a guy sport.
We'll never latch on to soccer until the diving part of it is banished. Why can't they just go to video replay after a game and penalize a diver retro-actively? Suspend them for a game each time they dive, increasing the amount of games for every additional dive?

Jeremiah's is a quality dive around the corner from where I live. Nobody mind's anybody's business and you can make out the screen well enough through the curling smoke.
lol...this is funny, and absolute laugh riot, a total hoot when it happens to everyone else's team.
but when it happens to our own teams it aint funny...as if the ref could fall for this stuff.
