Besides Sabathia, we signed Burnett. Along with Wang ,Joba
and possibly Petite. Could this be the best rotation in the AL?

How much more money will they spend?

They Jays signed Clement to a minor league contract.

When the hell will this league implement a real salary cap and revenue sharing so that the rest of the league has more than the faint hope clause to cling to?

Cash talks. Period. Every team in all of baseball is offering all they can to procure the talent they desire to fufill there aspirations, and to fill the seats.

Honestly, I find this pathetic. New York teams again trying to buy a championship. Its all about combining heart and talent, so the phils will win it all yet again! 😀

Phillies are notorious for being cheap. Lived in this sub par sports town for 18 yrs. Bout time they won a champ. I think Philadelphia some day might rise to the level of the rest of the mediocre sports towns. Umm...Cincinnati. ring a bell?

I'd bet it's the tallest rotation.

I'll admit...I HATE the Yankees! Not the Yankee players, but the dishonest way the Yankee organization has managed to continue to create an unfair advantage for themselves by weasling out of a revenue sharing system that is fair to all teams. I say "May the Yankees crash and burn!!" (and I'm not even a baseball fan!) 😏

I hate teams like the yankees who think they can buy their way to a championship. I may be byist because i am a Red Sox fan but look at the way the sox won in 2007. They Devolped players and made good draft choices. Terry Francona And Theo Epstein have done a great job making sure the Red Sox will be in the postseason hunt for years to come. I think the Yankees should trade a bunch of their washed up players for draft picks.
