I thought red and yellow cards were meant for repeated, malicious, and intentional fouls. Why does it seem they are given out every time two players bump into eachother?

My very point. Suspect refs. Worst in all of sports. USA robbed, Germany robbed, Nigeria robbed. Only sport where officials inject themselves into results. Rules changes are needed badly!
